You would only need to delete one sentence from the BVG.
Mario Lazzarini on forty years of the BVG, on rules nobody needs any more, and on what remains unfinished. When the BVG came into force in 1985, it was a lean piece of legislation and tax questions played only a minor role. Forty years on, occupational pension provision is unthinkable without tax law. Mario Lazzarini has seen this development from both sides of the table: first as Head of Pensions at the cantonal tax administration of Zug and a member of the Pensions working group of the Swiss Tax Conference, later as a tax specialist for PensExpert's clients. On 21 September he will give his final lecture for us. A good moment to talk about what has been achieved and what has been left undone.
